Songs of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra on “Close Up 1”
Patriotic and inspirational songs played on Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra during the Liberation War boosted the morale of the Freedom Fighters and a nation awaiting independence. The top 12 contestants of Close Up 1: Tomakei Khujchhey Bangladesh are vying for the audiences’ attention and their votes with singing the timeless Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra classics.
The first episode of the “Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra Round” was aired on ntv last Friday. As the contestants sang the motivational songs, photographs and clips featuring the Liberation War and scenic images of Bangladesh emerged on the LED screen in the background. Noted artistes of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra — Apel Mahmud, Mala Khan and Shujeo Shyam — attended the show to encourage the young contestants. Results will be aired tonight at 9:30 pm.
The top 12 contestants are Purno, Bappy, Shaju, Liza, Apu, Atik, Tasmi, Shashi, Parul, Poran, Leon and Dina. Six of them have performed last Friday. The rest will perform the next Friday.
